Small Batch Scotland honors traditional putter design while updating it to meet contemporary standards, ensuring the finished product is not only aesthetically nostalgic but also performs at the highest level today. The modernization includes the addition of a modified H1 hosel to the timeless pintail design, extending the blade to a contemporary length of 4.5 inches, and crafting a refined, squared-off shoulder and bumper design.
The cavity design not only modernizes the putter's proportions in terms of length and width but also enhances Scotland's Moment of Inertia, making it exceptionally forgiving.
A detailed examination of the topline reveals a gently raised and curved design, most apparent when viewing the putter head-on. This design not only honors classic pintail designs but also strategically positions the center of gravity (CG) at the center of the putter head, enhancing the sound, feel, and overall performance.
The back cavity design showcases a crest created for our family. The central crosses symbolize our family's unity, and the detail at the top of the badge represents our five family members. The sixth element represents the dogs we have so fortunately had as part of our family over the years.
The face mill pattern features a fine double fly cut, selected for its artistic appeal, and complemented by the big tuna over mill, it produces the perfect amount of audio feedback.
